Best age to start using anti aging creams? x?

Hey guys x i have this phobia of having horrible wrinkly skin when im older.. im so petrified! so i was wondering..when is the best age to start using anti aging creams? im 16 (i know u must think im stupid for finkin of getting old alrdy!!), but ive done my research and many people have used these since they have been 12? yet theres other people that say the best time is when theyre 30?

Im totally confused..so please tell me what is the best age for using anti aging creams?xBest age to start using anti aging creams? x?
No.1 rule - do not smoke cigarettes - this is the one thing that will definitely ruin your skin young.

No.2 rule, drink a minimum of 1 litre of water every day, 2 litres if you can manage it. (This includes your tea, coffee, squash btw).

No.3 rule if you drink alcohol, drink one glass of water for every unit of alcohol to counter the de-hydrating effect

Use a light medicated moisturiser from when your periods start, as this is the point where your skin begins to lose it elasticity. You should also make sure you get plenty of calcium.

When your skin stops growing (it is an organ after all), this is when you stop getting taller, use a good all in one cream like Olay. Cleanse, and use a specific night cream at bed time to keep your skin protected while you sleep.

Only when you see the first lines beginning to appear, usually in your mid-late 20s would you need anti-wrinkle creams. Start any earlier than this and you would be truly throwing money down the drain.

Young skin needs moisture, not tightening agents.

EDIT: Yes it does work, my wrinkles appear reduced just like Andi wossername says on the advert! Actually I use Boots own eye gel and it's fantastic, it even repairs the old smoker's pout I have above my top lip! Hooray for science!!Best age to start using anti aging creams? x?
I think the best way to protect your skin is to cleanse, tone and moisturise daily.

Also one very important tip.

Sunblock.

Even in winter.

Nothing ages skin faster than exposure to the sun.

We apply it every morning.

I do have a bit of a phobia though as I saw a neighbour of mine lose half his face due to a melanoma.

Better safe than sorry though.
ok 12 is way too young. you should start using it mid 20s- I've heard most suggest around 25. Don't know why people are starting at 12!!
30 onwards, but before if you start getting wrinkles.
About 21
Sooner the better
i am 13 and i use them around my eyes.

skin wrinkles mroe easily than people say.

it's better now to use them rather than trying to cure them later.

hope i helped!

xo~
I agree with Buddha.. it doesn't do anything to your skin it says it works miracles but it doesn't..
nothing wrong in using it
It doesn't work anyways so whats the point! Total waste of money...
It's all a complete waste of time. Save your money.
Ok, at 16, you don't need to be using anti-wrinkle creams! Your skin has enough elasticity in it and youthfulness is on your side! Drink loads of water and don't smoke are 2 of the best bits of advice i would give. My Mum is 55 and people always think she is my sister. I am 29! Saying that, i started using just normal moisturiser with sun protection in it from an early age. I was using basic moisturiser at about 12 but mainly because i do a lot of stuff on stage so i had to put on heaps of make up! I swera by using moisturiser, day and night and ALWAYS taking make up before you go to bed! Start thinking about using anti - wrinkle creams when you get into late 20's as your skin loses a lot of elasticity around this time. Excercise too! By the way, you do not need to spend loads on a basic moisturiser. Just try and find one that is not to oily or watery. Oil of Olay is good and has a fresh smell. You can get it to suit the type of skin you have.

When you get a little older i would invest in a day and a night moisturiser. Night time ones tend to be a bit thicker and a little more oily. Day wear ones are lighter and better for applying make up, but i wouldn't get too bogged down by all that at 16!

So, to summarise:

Drink loads of water

Excercise

Eat healthy

Don't smoke

Sleep well

Always take your make up at night

moisturise morning and night

Hope this helps!
