What is an effective anti-aging cream?

So my mom has been complaining about her wrinkles and her birthday is coming up.....she bought foundation thinking that it would conceal or watever, and i thought maybe i should get her an anti-aging cream (frankly the foundation and powders made it look worse). The next best thing to fight off wrinkles is a retinoid. Retinoids are the only treatment scientifically proven to alter the skin's cells.
